Welcome to the creative studio of Alexa Wheeler.
My work examines what is inherited—objects, memories, and the quiet weight of domestic labor. Trained as a master printer, I move between printmaking, photography, video, and mixed media, where the body remains a central presence through touch, repetition, and repair.
My work transforms domestic materials into evidence of care, labor, and lineage—acknowledging trauma while choosing transformation.
toastlab is my evolving popup studio for shared making and empathy in practice.
