revolution draws inspiration from the bold visual language of mid-century Cuban political posters, using graphic imagery, strong contrasts, and direct symbolism to address issues of environmental stewardship and collective responsibility. The work was created in response to local concerns surrounding water use in New Mexico, particularly public opposition to excessive water consumption by a prominent landowner during a period of increasing concern about scarcity and resource management. It reflects on the relationship between individual actions and shared resources. The imagery references traditions of political poster-making that have historically been used to mobilize public awareness, solidarity, and action.
