wind weaver skin trap is another exploration of underwear, or unterhosen, as objects of protection, privacy, and intimacy. Positioned closest to the body, underclothes function as both barrier and companion, simultaneously concealing and safeguarding what lies beneath. The work considers the ways clothing mediates relationships between the body, identity, and the outside world. Familiar forms dissolve into layered shapes, textures, and patterns, allowing the work to shift between recognition and ambiguity. The body remains present, but often indirectly, through traces, impressions, and suggestions of containment. The titles evoke tensions between freedom and restriction, comfort and vulnerability. Throughout the series, garments become more than functional objects. They serve as reminders of the ways we protect ourselves, what we choose to reveal, and the boundaries we establish between private and public life.
