use+tend+still considers the marks left by repetition, care, and daily ritual. The visual language of domestic objects and vessels in the series reflects on the ways meaning accumulates through use. Objects become records of touch, habit, maintenance, and memory, carrying evidence of the lives that move through them. The title functions as both instruction and observation. To use is to engage. To tend is to care for. To still is to pause, remain, or endure. Together, the words suggest cycles of activity and rest, labor and reflection, presence and absence, as well as the utensils themselves. Throughout the series, vessels serve as metaphors for the body, the home, and the self. Layers of material, surface, and form reveal traces of time and transformation. The work considers how ordinary acts become embedded within objects and how those objects, in turn, become witnesses to the rhythms of everyday life.
