witness is an ongoing project that explores testimony, memory, and the act of being heard. Through recorded stories, listening stations, and participatory encounters, the work creates space for individuals to share experiences that might otherwise remain unseen or unspoken. Personal narratives function as forms of knowledge and listening itself can become an act of care. The project invites reflection on whose stories are preserved, whose voices are amplified, and how collective memory is shaped through acts of telling and witnessing. By bringing together sound, text, objects, and audience participation, witness considers storytelling as both a personal and communal practice, one that connects individual experience to broader histories of belonging, loss, resilience, and survival.
